Attorney Russell Johnson, a Mobile native, graduated from the University of South Alabama where his interest in the legal community and love for the law led to the decision to attend law school. This academic journey laid a solid foundation for his diverse and impactful legal career.
As an attorney, Russ has represented individuals, businesses, and large corporations in a wide variety of civil matters throughout Alabama, primarily focusing on motor vehicle litigation and serious injury cases. Though the early portion of his legal career concentrated on defending and protecting the interests of large insurance companies, Russ has since opted to change course and devote himself to helping his injured neighbors. This led him to Long & Long, where advocating for those who have been hurt by others is always the goal.
Mr. Johnson is married to Taylor Johnson, a partner at Burr Forman, and they have two children together. In their free time, the four enjoy traveling and spending quality time together as a family.
